Halloween a Fun Time for All Ages

Every year during the first week of October, everywhere you go, you are reminded of Halloween! Creepy decorations in restaurants, scary ghosts in lawns, and even cute scarecrows decorated in orange and black. As the days pass everyone is trying to find that "perfect" costume, or just the right prop, to playfully scare trick or treater’s. Halloween is a fun that children dream of all year, they get to dress up and go to friendly neighborhoods and get candy! Halloween isn't only for children though...Adults like to participate in Halloween festivities of their own. Some enjoy going out with their children and grand children, and spending the night watching their faces light up with excitement, and a slight sugar rush.

Another thing that people enjoy to do on Halloween, is set up fun and scary props and sit outside and greet the children with candy and other special treats. Some even go as far as setting up a little haunted house in their yard, to give out not only goodies, but a few scares and laughs as well!

Another event adults like to attend (and my personal favorite), Halloween parties!! Many people throw these with many different themes. Some even have costume contests. This makes it fun for those who are not out door to door getting candy!

It is fun to put a lot of time and effort into your costume, no matter what age you are, there is something for you to enjoy on this spooky Holiday.

If you are driving yourself or friends to a party, make sure to have plenty of gas. You don't want to fall victim to a bad horror movie!

Attach flashy colored items to your children's costume and carry a flashlight!

Serve your kids a filling meal before trick or treating and they won't be as tempted to eat any candy before they bring it home for you to check.

Get on the internet and check your local state website for sex offenders Make sure your children know not to go to that house if Trick or Treating without you.

Have fun with this holiday, be safe. One day your children will grow up and follow the tradition with their children!
